Machine prints are on Fuji Professional paper from negative, transparency and digital images, with permanency guaranteed for life. Gloss,Metalic and Lustre surfaces are available on request, the default is Lustre.
Print sizes range from 3x2.5 inch to 30 ins x 14 feet inch.
Selective machine crops are available up to 30 ins x 14 feet inch prints. Unless specified, we will endeavour to print the whole of the image, resulting in square negatives and transparencies being printed square etc.
E.G: 120/ 6x6 cm. negative to 10 inch will have a print size of 10x10, unless 10x8 is requested with crop instructions. The magnification to 10x10 is the equal to that of 10x8. For wedding albums the 10x10 will fit into the 10x8 mount, allowing the photographer to decide upright or horizontal orientation, without having to trim the print.
Album prints can be printed to any size to fit albums without overlays, saving both time and costs e.g 11x11 to 12x12 inch will fit most 10x10 albums without the overlay. The exact size will depend on the album manufacturer.
35 mm to standard print sizes such as 10x8 inch will result in some cropping, if the whole of the image is required please ask for “FULL IMAGE” print, this will result in a 10x6.5 or 12x8 inch print.
Proof printing is available to 3.5x2.5, 3.5x3.5, 5x3.5, 5x4,6x4 and7x5, printed as individual prints. 35 mm negatives have frame numbers printed on the back and 120 negatives have exposure sequence on back. An unprintable negative on 120 will interrupt the sequence. All image numbers should be checked before ordering final prints. Proof prints are only available at time of film processing. Proofs from digital files
are also available.
Proof pages are available in the form of contact sheets. 120 films are available on 12x10 or 18x12 pages. 35 mm is available on a 12x10 page. This form of proofing reduces the chance of proofs being copied.
Our machine print services include Package Deal prints, available at time of film processing, Prints from Previews,(proofs), Multi Size Packages, (Schools etc.) and Reprints.
Package Prints are also available from digital files,an additional charge may be applied if extensive colour correcting is required.
Multi package sizes can vary according to requirements. Each negative or digital image will be printed to any number, combination requested.e.g.: 10x8 + 4 5x4 or 10x8 + 2 5x4+8 wallet size, 10x8 + 2 x5x4, 10x8 + 7x5 + 2 5x4+4 wallet size.
We can design most combinations and sizes to suit.
