Negatives and transparencies can be scanned to high and low resolution.
High resolution images are supplied in Tiff, RGB format.
- 35mm to 72 mb.
- 120 6x6 to 48mb
- 120 6x7 to 56mb
- 5x4 to 62mb.
Lower resolution scans are also available, supplied as Jpeg, RGB files at 300 dpi.
Each image is sized according to customer instructions. These sizes range from 2.5 to 15x10. A file scanned from a 6x6 120 negative to 10x10 at 300 dpi will give a Jpeg image of 26 mb.
Flatbed scans are available from originals up to 11x8.5. Larger sizes are copied
in digital, Raw format.
Please note; Our lowest resolution scans is 300dpi, some Photoshop defaults show the images at 72dpi. at larger dimensions.The true image size is the pixel x pixel resolution.
